Our Community Centre provides a fantastic venue at the heart of our village for us all to use, whether to hire the committee room, or book the hall or the Great Meadow for a special event or activity. Come along for tea, homemade cakes and a chat at the Centre Café on a Thursday afternoon, visit the Library, or attend a Parish Council meeting. A large parking area and toilet and changing room facilities are available. We also provide free WiFi. A wheelchair is available for hirers use whilst in the centre. Please make use of our bottle, shoe and clothing recycling banks located in the Community Centre car park.
For general enquiries or to hire the hall or committee room, please see the Centre hire page.
The hall is approximately 160m², and can hold up to 160 people. Facilities include tables and chairs, a large stage, cinema screen, built in overhead projector, lighting and sound systems.
The kitchen / committee room
Our refurbished kitchen has modern stainless steel units, and facilities include an oven, large griddle plate, hot water dispenser, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and large sink unit. The committee room (within the kitchen area) is also available to hire as a meeting room.
We are back open and running a Select and Collect scheme and are very happy to see new and existing customers. You can give us a call or go online and tell us what types of books or authors you like and we will select some books for you to collect safely. The phone line and email will be checked during opening hours and we will contact you when items are ready for collection. We have lots of books and a great new selection of children’s books.
- You can return titles and pick up existing, pre-lockdown reservations at the Library.
- Reservations are now open but not browsing. However, staff can select some titles for you from their own library – use our Select and Collect service.
- Select and collect – arrange to collect a bundle of titles from your local library.
